ABOUT US
Howes Station Market
Check out our store

Considered a Middleton, MA landmark, our location was established in 1873. It was first a railroad station named after state representative - Benjamin Howe. The rail line was discontinued in the 1920’s or 30’s.

With over 21 years of ownership and two-generations, this father-son duo team of Dipak and Kush Karia transformed Howes Station Market into a true one-stop shop while maintaining its historic value and community charm.

The building has always been signature corner location of Middleton. Either as a rail road station or the current day one-stop shop, the Karia family strive to maintain this reputation in town as a community-friendly, local convenience store. Longtime residents remember sitting on the porch benches at Howe’s as their family shopped for groceries - Howes was the local grocery store before large chain grocery stores came into vogue.
The Karia family became just the fifth ownership group when they purchased the property in 2002. Since then it has become the go-to location to buy the most exclusive craft beers, pick up your last minute bottle of wine or grab fresh deli subs on your lunch break.
Aside from the rarest craft beers in the country & hottest wine on the market, the store features steamed hotdogs, freshly made subs, groceries, snacks, Richardson’s ice-cream, tobacco, lottery & more.

As a family run business for over 18 years, Howes Station Market and our customers have became family to us. We look to continue to provide our friendly customer service and the coldest beer in town for many more years to come!
